• To appraise members with concept of quality control.
• To make available quality control material among fellow member.
• To ensure quality of testing material and reagents. VILAC –Voluntary InterLaboratory Comparison Programme is Official Proficiency Testing Programme of APP. This Proficiency Testing Programme is ISO 9001:2008 certified.

B. Continued Medical Education (CME)

• To keep pace with recent advances in Medical Field and diagnostic techniques.
• Symposium/Seminars are organized through out the year on a Quarterly basis. The duration varies from 3-4 hours and 3-4 eminent speakers discuss and deliberate on topics of mutual interest.

C. Fellowship

• To meet fellow pathologists and understand their difficulties and share their experiences.
• We are having quaterly meetings in which attendence is allways more than 75%.

D. The society does not indulge itself in political activities.
